Weather Station

Climate is one of the most important factors governing the distribution and evolution of prairie and savanna habitats and their components. Alderville First Nation and its partners are investigating the exciting possibility of establishing a research and interpretive center to further explore climatic and other conditions at the site. The study of microclimatic variations within the site is felt to hold a great deal of promise in understanding the distribution of plant and animal life there.
